Walking is the Best exercise to do to have a Healthy Life-Style.



What is Walking??? 



Walking is just a simple exercise but it is very powerful

It can help you stay trim, improve cholesterol levels, strengthen bones, keep blood pressure in check, lift your mood and lower your risk for a number of diseases; for example diabetes and also heart disease.


The first thing we need to do before walking is to “Eat Right”! 
The head personal trainer at the University of Chicago; Jessica John said “Never go for walk on an empty stomach, you won’t have enough energy and you will most likely feel sick. So about an hour or so before you walk, eat a snack or a small meal, especially one that’s got carbohydrates and protein.”


The second thing is “Drink enough water”!
As we all know that water is essential to maintain good health during walking. Not only water but also smoothies with vegetables are great for health. 



Before walking, we should “Stretch Out” for 10 minutes. 
Stretching relaxes your muscles, leaving you much more able to move around as opposed to having tight muscles, which restrict movement.

What’s more?? Stretching before a workout also decreases your chances of pulling or, worse, tearing a muscle, a risk that increases the tighter your muscles are.


So, what benefits can you get after walking?             

                                                                           

1.     It can strengthen your heart! According to the Stroke Association, walking briskly for up to 30 minutes can help prevent and control the high blood pressure that can cause strokes- reducing your risk by up to 27%.




2.     It deflects Diabetes
     Researches have shown that walking is the best way to reduce Diabetes. People with a family history or current risk of being pre-diabetic have shown significant improvement in insulin sensitivity when incorporating regular brisk walking or other types of moderate to vigorous activity into their lifestyle. 


3.     It helps you beat Breast cancer!
     Women who walk regularly after being diagnosed with breast cancer have a 45 percent greater chance of survival than those who are inactive.


4.     It can also make you happy! :)
     Studies have shown that regular, moderate-intensity exercise to be as effective as antidepressants in case of mild to moderate depression. It gives you an opportunity to socialize actively with friends and family. It also helps you sleep better and handle the stress.
