Do you think Hair Dying is Good for you??

Do you think Hair Dying is good for you??

No! It can even cause Cancer!!

Nowadays, girls and boys also man and woman use hair colors to increase the natural beauty of their hair or to cover up their white hair. Hair coloring has an instant effect and makes you look fabulous. With time, hair coloring products have evolved a lot and today you can find a host of them available as temporary, semi-permanent and even permanent hair dyes. You also have a huge array of colors to choose from starting from natural shades to incredible colors like red, blue, green and even pink!

But have you guys even thought about the disadvantages of hair dying?

So let me share you some of the disadvantages of hair coloring so that you can decide on your own whether you should go for hair coloring or stick to your natural shades.

    1.   Bladder Cancer
Text Box: Bladder Cancer

In the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) May 2005, some research was published that looked into all the studies on hair dyes causing cancer. In 2008, the World Health Organisation (WHO) said that there is some evidence that hair dyes can increase the risk of bladder cancer for male hairdressers and barbers. This is because they are working with these chemicals all the time. But this risk can be reduced by using non touch hairdressing techniques.

    2.   Breast Cancer

P-phenylalanine (or PPD) not only causes severe allergic reaction, it can also lead to the development of breast cancer. According to studies, women who worked in the salon industry for 5 years or more showed a higher incidence of breast cancer. Resorcinol is an endocrine-disrupting chemical that may also increase the risk of breast cancer by disrupting natural hormonal balance.
    3.   Asthma

Most Hair Dyes include Ammonia which is a contributor to asthma attacks when using hair dye. In high concentrations, it can easily exacerbate preexisting breathing conditions.

   4.    Allergy

Sometimes, you can see allergic reactions even after you have used it for a long time. It has been observed that people develop and allergy even after a long time in life.

     5.     Hair Damage

Short-term hair damage is one that you can overcome as soon as you leave using that brand of hair dye. These are not dangerous and cause damage to your hair that can be rectified. However, there are long-term effects of these hair dyes also.

     6.     Hair fall

It is also one of the main problems of Hair Dying Side Effects.
Most of the Hair dye products contain certain chemicals that if misused or over used can result in damage to hair follicles or your scalp and cause hair loss from hair dye. One example is chemical straightening used on hair that can burn the scalp and cause temporary or permanent hair loss. Some people are more prone to hair loss and the overuse or improper use of chemicals in lower grade products may cause hair loss from hair dye by stimulating and accelerating the process of hair loss.

So how can We prevent from these Side Effects??

To prevent from Hair Loss or Hair Fall, you can take any natural oil - olive, coconut, and canola - and heat it up so that it is warm, but not too hot. Massage it gently into your scalp. Put on a shower cap and leave it on for an hour, then shampoo your hair.

To minimize Hair Damage, you should choose semi-permanent hair dyes. Although semi-permanent hair dyes won't last quite as long, they tend to be less harsh as far as the chemicals they contain when compared to permanent dyes. And also follow the instructions when you dye. This is especially important when it comes to how long the dye should be left on your hair.

Additionally, read through any "Warning" or "Caution" sections in the directions before you begin.

Don’t mix hair dye products. Hair dyes are typically FDA approved. When you combine these products, the chemical balance could change and become too harsh for your hair.

You know what, you can also use Coffee to dye hair or improve our hair health. Coffee is an absolute natural product which possesses beneficial properties. Using this easy natural coffee mixture, you will get the desired shine, shade, and even promote hair growth. According to a study published in the January 2007 issue of the, coffee indeed helps with hair growth.

How to use coffee to dye your hair

1. Make really strong organic coffee, preferably espresso.

2. Non organic coffee most likely contains some added chemicals.

3. Let your coffee cool down.Mix 2 cups of leave in all natural conditioner with 2 teaspoons of organic coffee grounds and 1 cup of cold brewed coffee.

4. Shampoo your hair first and then pour coffee over your hair.

5.   Leave it in for 20 minutes.

6.   Use apple cider vinegar to rinse the coffee out of your hair (it will help seal in the color).

 7. Then rinse it off with warm water.

If you don’t see the desired results right away, repeat the same process for a few days in a row to allow the coffee to penetrate the strands of your hair.
