Sleeping and Health
The reason why I want to
share this with you guys is that nowadays most of us do the exercises, eat
properly and live naturally to build a good health, but we don’t care sleeping
at all and sometime we don’t know why we are so tiring without doing anything
or we can’t think well or forget about something important. We don’t know why
those are happening to us. You know? those happen when we don’t have enough
sleep or we didn’t sleep enough.
Do you know how much time we need to sleep?
Do you know how sleeping related to our health?
What is the disadvantages of lack of sleep?
From here on, I will explain all those three factors for you
all
Let’s take a look for question number one.
“ HOW MUCH TIME DO WE NEED TO SLEEP ”
For Adults
|
About 7 and 8 hours
|
For young school children
|
About 10 hours
|
For 1 to 5 years old children
|
About 14 hours
|
For new born babies
|
About 18 hours
|
This is the basic sleeping hours for all people where all
doctors will guide you. But you don’t know how this table came from.
Let me explain about this table,
>For adults like us, we need to sleep about 7 and 8 hours
because how much we sleep directly effect on our daily progress, studying,
walking, playing, and everything we do. If we don’t have enough sleep, we can’t
do our daily actions well so our productivity will become lower.
>For young school children, they need to sleep up to 10 hours
because at that time of age, their brain and other paths of their body are
continuously growing. If they do not sleep at that time much, it will effect on
their mature processes.
>For 1 to 5 years old children, about 14 hours to sleep. Most
of the children sleep that much without guiding them by their parents, for
those who don’t sleep that much their parents should make them sleep because at
the time the source of energy they getting is from sleeping still not from food
they eat.
>For new born babies, they sleep up to 18 hours usually, and some
babies sleep almost a day so there is nothing left to say about form this
section.
So, let’ continue to our second question
“How sleeping related to our health”
>Actually, sleeping is like charging our
body to get energy like our electronic devices. If we don’t sleep (charge), we’ll
run out of energy and we can’t do what we willing to do as well.
>Sleep also play as a healing process and repairing our health
and blood vessels, sleeping is directly connected to our heart’s health.
>Sleeping helps our body to maintain the balance of ghrelin (hormones
that make us hungry) and leptin (hormones that make us full). Maintaining that
balance helps us to know when we should eat properly.
Here’s the last question
“What is the disadvantages of lack of sleep?”
(1) Heart-related diseases,
(2) Ages your skin,
(3) Forgetful,
(4) Make you Gain Weight
(5) Depression, and
(6) Low productivity
As conclusion for this topic, I would like to encourage you all to have an enough sleep where as it is very important for your health as well as your daily life. Your works, your duties, your assignments aren't very important as sleeping as
" Sleep is a biological Need ".
So throw away all your work when the time comes to sleep.
